美國(guó)科羅拉多州公共衛(wèi)生及環(huán)境部門(mén)的研究報(bào)告證實(shí)，該州在近兩年內(nèi)，出現(xiàn)6名一般民眾感染“惡夢(mèng)”超級(jí)細(xì)菌的案例，這6個(gè)確診病例，既非醫(yī)務(wù)人員，在一年內(nèi)也不曾到醫(yī)院就診和接受過(guò)插管、手術(shù)等醫(yī)療行為。
根據(jù)美國(guó)疾病控制與預(yù)防中心（CDC）的報(bào)告，由于“惡夢(mèng)”超級(jí)細(xì)菌幾乎對(duì)每一種抗生素都已產(chǎn)生耐藥性，所以很難用抗生素殺死病菌，因此感染“惡夢(mèng)”的人有50%的死亡風(fēng)險(xiǎn)。

Six people in Colorado recently became infected with a “nightmare” superbug that until now, has mostly been limited to people in hospitals, according to a new report. The new cases suggest the superbug may have spread outside of health care facilities.
The superbug is known as carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae, or CRE, a family of bacteria that are difficult to treat because they are resistant to powerful antibiotics.
